CAD Free Flight Plans

Computer Aided Design (CAD) programs offer great flexibility in what you can do with a plan, although CAD is not for everyone. You need to have the software first (see the "Free Flight and CAD" page for some links where you can download free CAD programs), then you need to learn how to use it. If you already use CAD at school or work, then your familiarity with the programs will be a great advantage. Many free flight plans have been converted to CAD format, and the purpose of this page is to collect as many of those plans as are available and offer them for your personal use

Please note that the plan designers retain copyright to these plans, so you should not use these files for commercial purposes without the designer's permission. If any of these plans breaches your copyright, please let me know and I will remove it from this site.

There are 2 file formats for the plans:
DWG - this is the AutoCAD file format (Release 12)
DXF - this is a Drawing Exchange Format which can be read by most CAD programs

All files are zipped to reduce download time, so you will need to unzip the files once you download them to your PC.

To download the files:
If you use Internet Explorer, right click on the file link below and select "Save Target As".
If you use Netscape, right click on the file name below and select "Save Link As".
